Generating rock property logs

On the Rock Properties form (1D MODEL > Lithology > Lithology Model Definition > Rock Properties), you can generate the rock property logs based on the rock type definitions on the Validate Rock Types form, which you can access from this form. If you need to create rock types prior to making these calculations, you can also do so on the Validate Rock Types form.

To create and edit rock logs

1. Before you create rock type logs, ensure you are using the appropriate correlations. To do so, under Show rock types, click Show to open the Validate Rock Types form.

2. Select the rock type logs to create from the Select Rock Properties section on the form.

   • Red rock type log options have not been created yet or must be updated.
   • Black log options have been created and/or updated after changes.
3. To generate and calculate the rock type logs, click (Re)Calculate.
4. To show the rock type logs in the Well View, click Show at the bottom of the form.
