Operating Envelope
The sand free operating envelopes show a series of curves representing specific rock strengths at a given depth. In the sand free operating envelope the critical BHFP are plotted for a series of drawdown and depletion conditions. These form a family of curves separating the sand free zone from the sand zone. Where BHFP and reservoir pressure for any well flowing condition cross a rock strength curve, sand failure is predicted and the onset of sand production is assumed from rocks with the specified strength.
The Source Depth form lets you define the calculation mode. Depth could be define as MD or TVDSS. Click OK in this form to move to the next form (Input Parameters).
In the Input Parameters form, you will define
- Initial pressure
- Abandoned pressure
- TWC interval values
- Depletion interval values
In the Operating Envelope form, you will define:
- Open Hole and/or cased hole study
- Perforation orientation definition
Production Data Import
The Production Data Import lets you create or import production data. Is not imperative to have date information to manipulate this data in the operating envelope
