The sand free operating envelopes show a series of curves representing specific rock strengths at a given depth. In the sand free operating envelope the critical BHFP are plotted for a series of drawdown and depletion conditions. These form a family of curves separating the sand free zone from the sand zone. Where BHFP and reservoir pressure for any well flowing condition cross a rock strength curve, sand failure is predicted and the onset of sand production is assumed from rocks with the specified strength.

The input Tab lets you change the values of the input parameters.

Note: Notice that the input data in the setup and the values in the sensitivity table are synchronized. Therefore, whatever change you made in this table will change in the setup.

The Display tab lets you define the visibility of the perforation orientation angle as well as the other curves that are part of the operating envelope.
