Solids Production View (OH or CH)

In the Solids Production View (OH or CH) you can show the yearly produced sand mass and cumulative sand mass in chart format, with the various production scenarios on the X axis. The view opens automatically when you click Show Mass on either of the Sanding Volume OH or Sanding Volume CH forms.

Important  Only production scenarios with a date, provided on the Production Scenarios form, can be shown in the view. Production scenarios without date cannot be shown.

Plastic Zone Area View toolbar

Probe  Displays information for the location that the cursor is hovering over.
Take screenshot  Copy the current view to the clipboard for use in other applications.
Save screenshot to file  Save the current view to a file with a name and location you specify.
Export to clipboard  Copies the numerical chart data to the clipboard, allowing it to be pasted into external applications.
Export to file  Exports the plot data to a *.txt file.
Options  Opens the Input and Display tab at the right side of the screen.

Display tab

You can modify the data shown in the view via the options of the Display tab. To open the Display tab, click the Options icon () located in the toolbar at the top of the view.

Chart type  

  • Cumulative  Select this option to display the cumulative mass of sand produced. The mass is shown as a line. As a reference, a bar chart with the yearly produced sand mass is shown as well.
  • Individual  Select this option to display the produced sand mass per year.

For Cased Hole only

For Cased Hole production charts, the Display tab shows two additional settings:

  • use Production Zones filter  Check this option to apply Production Zones filter to the calculated values. If checked, only samples which are located in the Opened Production Zone will be used for plotting. If unchecked, calculated mass from all samples will be plotted.
  • A table where you can show or hide perforation orientation scenarios by selecting or deselecting the 'Visibility' checkbox. You can specify a depth range in the Start MD/End MD columns; calculated mass values for depths outside this range will not be used in the chart series. The colors of the perforation orientation scenarios are taken by default from the corresponding colors on the Perforation Orientation Scenarios form.

To change the layout of the chart

You can customize various visual aspects of the chart such as background color, axes min/max and tickmarks. To do this, right-mouse click in the chart area and select Options... For information, see Using chart options dialog.
