Show View Options (CMW)
Options selected on the Show View Options form are used to determine what output is generated when you run the Check Mud Weight algorithm. Some options may be unavailable (grayed out). The options that can be selected depend on features used and options selected in other forms.
Logs
The logs options allow you to select the type of data that is displayed in the Well View.
Stress / Pressure Model (EMW) Displays min and max horizontal stresses, overburden stress, and final pore pressure EMW logs in the same track as the calibration and mud weight data.
Input logs (Rock) Adds an additional track to the view with the UCS, Internal Friction Coefficient, and Static Poisson’s Ratio displayed.
Well geometry + Stress Azimuth Adds an additional track to the view with azimuth and inclination data displayed.
Well Events Adds an additional track with well events data, if applicable.
Selected Failure Criterions output Allow showing the selected failure criteria breakout width curves in one single track. Not always applicable.
When the Constant option is selected in the definition of the failure criteria (on the Failure Criterion form), a drop-down list is enabled to select as many failure criteria as you want (and to designate one as the active criterion). Breakout width logs will be calculated for all selected failure criterions and multiple views will be displayed based on each failure criterion.
In the meantime, the Show View Options enables the option Selected Failure Criterions output. This option will allow showing the selected failure criteria breakout width curves in one single track.
Views
3D Displays a 3D view with the well from the selected perspective.
2D Displays a 2D view with the well from the selected perspective.
Color set range This option is only active when the 3D or 2D view options are selected. Values can be provided to narrow or widen the defined range.
- After making your selection, click Show to create the selected views.
- Click OK to close the form.
