Attribute Catalog
You use the Attribute Catalog to add user-defined attributes to a selected object type in your solution, or to edit a limited number of object derived attribute settings. The Attribute Catalog lists all attribute definitions for an object type, both object derived and user-defined. When an attribute definition is object derived, the only settings that can be edited are Display Name and Category. All the other settings are grayed out. When an attribute definition is user-defined, the only settings that cannot be edited are Display Unit and Type. These settings are grayed out.
Object derived attribute definitions are obtained from the selected object type, while user-defined attribute definitions are fully customized. To view or edit the values that belong to the listed attributes, you must open the Attribute Table.
