Creating marker sets

Use the Create Marker Set form (data> Wells Create Marker Set) to create new marker sets; note that after creation with this form, only the placeholder (folder) is created in the JewelExplorer and it does not contain any markers yet. You can import markers to different marker sets, merge them together, create a copy (use the Duplicate option from the context menu) and delete them.

When you pick new markers, you can select a destination marker set. This allows you to create or import several different scenarios of interpreted markers and investigate the impact on each of them on the geological models.

To create a marker set

1. Select Create new and enter the name of the marker set.
2. Click OK to create the marker set with the given name.

The new marker set will appear in the JewelExplorer under Well Data > Marker Sets. As markers are added to the marker set they will appear in stratigraphic order in the JewelExplorer.
