How can I smooth log data?
In JewelExplorer or in any Well View, right-click a log and select Tools And Operations > Smooth Logs to open the Run operation form, then specify the smoothing window length, for example 30 feet, an interpolation type, type a new log suffix. and then click OK.
A new log is available and can be displayed together with the source log.
Important
The smoothing is NOT automatically updated when the source log changes.
To re-run the same
smoothing operation, right-click the smoothed log and select View History
. Then double-click the Operation icon (
) to show the previously executed
smoothing operation. Click OK to update the smoothed
log.
