Importing, creating and exporting data

Getting your data into your solution is the first step in the modeling and prediction process. You preferably have this in common file formats so that you can import automatically using the features designed to make this as streamlined as possible. You use the Data strip to import well data, which can include markers and logs (including real-time data from a WITSML connection), along with project files from the GMI WellCheck and GMI ModelBuilder applications.

You can also export your data in various standard formats for use in other projects and applications.

You can also edit and create data for wells, logs, and markers data types on the Data strip, as well as edit existing data via the Edit option in its context menu. With the Regional Data form, and its associated Regional Data view, you can convert between logs and TVD property tables, and also create regional data from scratch.
