How to read the Beach Ball orientation
When you select Beach Ball as shape type for your microseismic event, this is how the orientation is displayed (top view):
Important
The definition of the azimuth is in the strike direction of the fault plane. Rotation of the rake is counterclockwise, around the normal to the fault plane defined by strike and dip.
