Graphically editing log trends

You can edit your log trends using the graphical tools on the floating palette (Tools > Editing Tools in the Workspace section on the right of the Strip).

Edit Log Trend  Edit the shape of the selected trend line. Click the Edit Log Trend icon to make the tool active. Click on a trend line to select it. Red nodes will appear to indicate the control points.

You can move the control points one by one, or you can move the whole trend line.

• Click and drag a control point to move it in any direction. During the movement the selected control point turns blue.
• Click and drag the trend line to move it to a new location.

All the settings on the Trends form and in the Inspector are updated accordingly (the selected equation stays the same, but the coefficients are updated).
