File formats for importing and exporting data

For existing data you already have for a reservoir you can import a wide variety of data types. When importing seismic data and/or seismic interpretation data in the time domain, time/depth conversion can be performed automatically using the time/depth conversion method you have specified.

You can also export data in many formats to reuse in other applications.

Which formats can I import and export?

The file formats in blue are the internal JOA XML based formats, the file formats in orange are the JOA ASCII based formats (keyword based). The remaining black formats are the industry standard formats.

When you export 3D mesh properties to ascii and import them back into JewelSuite Geomechanics, the original name of the property classes is replaced by an integer. You can change the name of the property class in the Inspector.
