Display Settings
Color Pick a color to display it in the view.
Render Mode Select whether to display as lines, points or a surface.
Depth Method Select to display the data points at the top of the view, bottom of the view box, at a specified (fixed) depth or at the depth of the depth property (using real depth values if available).
Transparency Make it semi-transparent. Adjust the opacity value from the Property Inspector.
Lighting Turn a lighting effect on or off. The lighting effect can enhance the visibility of contours.
Contours Show or hide contour lines relating to the display of properties on a grid or surface.
Contour Labels Show labels on contour lines.

Interpolation This display setting affects the (color) interpolation of the object displayed in your view. Without interpolation, the color boundaries are sharp; with interpolation switched on, the boundaries are smoothed.
Create
Create Point Set Using Element Center Create a point set using element center as location for the nodes in the point set.
Create Point Set Using Element Nodes Create a point set using element nodes as locations for the nodes in the point set.
Create Node Property From Volumes Create a node property from the selected volume(s) that you can use for further calculations and visualization. The volume can either be the full volume, a compartment or a zone.
Create Element Property From Volumes Create an element property from the selected volume(s) that you can use for further calculations and visualization. The volume can either be the full volume, a compartment or a zone.
Assign to Zone Assign the compartment to a zone. Compartments that are not assigned to a zone will lead to simulation errors.
Properties
Set Active Property Select a property for display in the 3D View. You can also select properties to view using the visibility checkboxes in the JewelExplorer.
Default Geometry Properties
Opens a predefined list with properties. When you select a property, the values for this property are calculated, the property is added to the JewelExplorer and displayed in the active view. If you update the geometry of the object, the property is automatically recalculated. For tri-meshes and 3D meshes, you can choose from multiple mesh quality properties to help you assess the quality of the mesh.
