Seismic volume context menu
Hide (Show) Hide or show the seismic volume in your 3D View.
Show Border Show or hide the red, blue and green colored borders around the slices.
Transparency Make it semi-transparent. Adjust the opacity value from the Property Inspector.
Lighting Turn a lighting effect on or off. The lighting effect can enhance the visibility of contours.
Use Volume Rendering To delineate seismic attribute anomalies and stratigraphic/structural features this option can be used. By activating this mode, pixel shading is used in combination with the Opacity Control Line, allowing you to focus on a specific range of attribute. For more information about the Opacity Control Line, see The Opacity Control Line.
Interpolation Choose either a linear or cubic B-spline interpolation to apply to the display, or no filter at all. Without the filter, the color boundaries are sharp. With the filter, the boundaries are smoothed according to the method chosen.Cropping... Open the Cropping Settings form to specify a subset of the seismic volume by setting a ‘Start Index’ and an ‘End Index’ for the slices, crosslines and depth slices. The resulting ‘Number of steps’ is calculated automatically. Click Set 3D Texture to retexture the seismic volume in the 3D view based on the cropping settings. Click Reset 3D Texture to restore the original texture of the seismic volume in the 3D view. Click Reset Boundaries to reset the Start and End indices to the full volume values. Click Export joa Seismic to export the cropped volume in the JewelSuite joaSeismic file format.
Reset Boundaries Reset the Start and End indices to the full volume values.
