Creating a 3D grid
The first step of the the 3D Gridding workflow (model > 3D Grid > Create 3D Grid) allows you to create a new grid, or select an existing grid to modify it. The grid is represented as a separate item and can be found in the JewelExplorer under 3D Grids.
3D Grids can be copied between instances of the application via drag and drop (only between instances of the application that have the same version). The drag and drop operation for a 3D Grid copies the structural model it depends on, and all its assigned data, including surfaces, wells, and the stratigraphic and fault models. See drag and drop in the JewelExplorer topic for more information.
