Creating the fault stability model
With the Create Model form (Model > Fault Stability > Create Model), you create a new (empty) fault stability model. As you work through the steps of the Discrete Analysis workflow, you gradually generate the input properties required for the fault stability calculation. All the properties generated throughout the workflow are stored under the Fault Stability Model in the JewelExplorer.
To create a model
- On the Create Model form, select
Create new in the Model drop-down list. - Either keep the default name or type a new name for the model in the text field below.
- Click Apply to create the model and keep the Create Model form open, or click OK to create the model and proceed to the Assign Data form.
The new (empty) fault stability model is stored in the JewelExplorer under the main Fault Stability Models folder. The created model becomes the default selection on the rest of the forms in the workflow.
To change the default model
- On the Create Model form, select the model of interest in the Model drop-down list.
- Click Apply or OK to set the selected model as the default selection on the rest of the forms in the workflow.
