Tools

The Tools section of the Fault Stability strip (model > Fault Stability > Tools) contains tools to work on the input and output of the fault stability calculation that you perform with the Discrete Analysis workflow.

On the input side, there is a tri-mesh refinement tool with which you can refine your tri-meshes in case they are too coarse.

On the output side there are various tools to QC and analyze your fault stability calculation results in detail.

Normal and shear stress components can easily be displayed on your fault with the Create Point Sets tool. With the Probability Probe tool you can (if multiple realizations were run) graphically inspect your tri-mesh for P10, P50, P90 results, and with the Tensor Probe you can analyze stress conditions for a specific point over multiple time steps in Mohr space as well as a table.
