The 3D grid geomechanical properties workflow

The 3D Grid Geomechanical Properties workflow (MODEL > Geomechanics > 3D Grid Geomechanical Properties) provides the functionality to calculate properties based on input properties of your 3D grid (and sometimes well data). The input and output 3D grid in this workflow is always the same grid.

Topological properties are properties that are not linked to the stratigraphy but rather are linked to a location. Typical topological properties are pore pressure, stresses (overburden, horizontal). Output grid properties of this workflow can, for example, be used as input to the fault stability calculation.
