Model reporting
You can create 2D maps that describe the distribution of (3D) reservoir properties. The resulting maps can be used in reservoir evaluation, visualization of property distribution and reporting.
As input, 2D mapping uses a geological grid, in which zones can be selected at various hierarchy levels, and 3D property grids. For each vertical grid stack the required property is calculated and mapped to the 2D output grid. The result appears in the JewelExplorer as a 2D grid or map.
Values are calculated per grid cell, the 2D maps represent the calculated values per vertical grid stack.
Important
2D mapping is supported only for grids with vertical pillars (e.g. JewelGrid, Easy Grid). Grids with non-vertical pillars (e.g. slanted pillar grids), which might have been imported from other applications, are not supported.
