Extending polyline sets

Use the extension tool to extend polyline sets upwards or downwards. This feature is particularly useful for fault polyline sets.

Other means of handling polyline-tri-mesh intersections are available in the Structure Builder group.

  1. Select the polyline sets to extend. You can click the individual check boxes or right-click the list and make a selection from the context menu.

  2. You can extend polyline sets in two directions with a specified distance. The extension is applied to all polylines in the selected polyline sets.

    Upward  Extend the selected polyline sets in upward direction.

    Downward  Extend the selected polyline sets in downward direction.

    Distance  Specify the extension distance.

  3. Click OK to extend the selected polyline sets.
