Tools

The Tools section of the prepare > Post-Processing Tools strip contains three tools: a Depth Well Matching tool, a Property Well Matching tool, and a Rotate Surface tool.

• With the Depth Well Matching tool you can well match surfaces to markers and/or point sets. Performing the well matching will geometrically shift the surfaces to match the depth at marker and/or point set locations. Depth well matching creates surfaces with an updated geometry.
• With the Property Well Matching tool you can well match a surface property, for example a property resulting from seismic attribute analysis and seismic inversion. The most common use-case for property well matching is comparing the surface property with values (of the same property type) at well locations (markers) or point sets. If you choose to apply the well matching, a new property for the surface will be created with the altered (well matched) values.
• With the Rotate Surface tool you can (interactively) rotate surfaces around a user-defined rotation axis.
