Creating a model
The first step of the ConnectFlow workflow (simulation > ConnectFlow > Create Model) enables you to create a new fracture model, or activate an existing one to review or modify it.

You can duplicate, rename, or delete your existing models via the toolbar on this form.

Duplicates the currently selected model in the drop-down list (i.e., the active model). |

Opens the Rename dialog, where a new name can be given to the active model. |

Deletes the active model. |
ConnectFlow models can only be deleted using the
Delete option on the Create Model form.
To create a new model
- On the Create Model form, select
Create new from the drop-down list. - Type in a name in the adjacent field.
- Click Apply to create the fracture model and keep the form open, or click OK to create the model and proceed to the Unfaulted Grid form.
To activate an existing model
You can activate an existing model as default, so that it is automatically selected when you open any of the forms within the workflow.
- On the Create Model form, select the model of interest from the drop-down list.
- Click Apply to activate the fracture model.
- Close the form, or click Next to proceed to the Unfaulted Grid form.
