Select faults

On the Faults form (simulation > ConnectFlow > Faults), you select the faults from the fault model of your source 3D grid that will be used for fracture modeling workflow in ConnectFlow.

On the form, select the Model from the drop down list showing all the fracture models for ConnectFlow. Once you have selected the model, faults from the Fault Model associated with the source 3D Grid are listed below.

Select the faults that you want to include in your fracture model by checking the adjacent checkbox. By default, fault transmissibility value of 1 is assigned if the faults do not have any assigned transmissibility. If you have a Fault Seal model with transmissibility values, you can generate a point set of these transmissibilities which you can further map on the fault tri-mesh. The transmissibility values, for the selected faults, are then exported to ConnectFlow for analysis and used for characterizing fracture properties.

Click Apply to select the faults and keep the form open, or click OK to select the faults and proceed to the Wellbore Fractures form.
