Defining components (GEM™ only)

The Components form is used to edit EOS sets in the input deck that is submitted to the GEM™ simulator. The Components view, which is opened via this form, provides access to the Components Table and Components Properties tab, where the individual components of the simulation and fluid properties can be defined.

1. To edit the components data and properties for the simulation, click the Edit EOS button to open the Components view.

2. Start WinProp. You can use the WinProp GUI to prepare PVT region data into the simulation case.

   Start WinProp  Clicking this button launches the WinProp editor. If multiple versions of WinProp are installed on the machine you can select which version to run via the Version combo boxes.

3. Import WinProp-generated model. You can use the WinProp GUI to import PVT region data into the simulation case.

   Import model  When clicked, an import dialog opens from which you can import WinProp fluid model data.

4. Setup and implement CBM model. Use this step to edit and connect a CBM model.

   Setup CBM  Opens the CBM Setup View for editing.

   Implement CBM  Connects the parameters to the static model.
