Aquifers

You can create and modify aquifers for the simulation input using the Aquifer Definition tool. You can also update aquifer data from existing definitions.

To connect the aquifer

1. Click the Edit aquifers button to open the Aquifers view, where aquifer definitions are displayed and can be modified for the current simulation case.
2. Click the Connect aquifers button to connect the aquifers to the model. For each aquifer defined in the upstream workflow, a row is created or updated in the aquifer table. A row is updated if the name of the upstream aquifer matches the name in the aquifer table.

3. For each row in the aquifer table connected to an upstream aquifer, update the aquifer connections.

   Select aquifer definition  Use the drop-down list to select the active aquifer definition.

   Aquifer property table  Use these settings to control aquifer behavior.

   Update aquifer  Updates the aquifer connections from the upstream workflow.
