Defining components (STARS™ only)

Using this form, you can assign the include file (*.inc) that is used to define the fluid components in your STARS™ simulation case. The include file can be generated using the industry standard PVT and fluid modeling applications. The include file contains the fluid properties for the different components in the reservoir - water, oil, gas, solid and adsorbed/trapped components.

Important Make sure the unit used in the include file is same as the input unit (INUNIT) of the simulation case. Check the 'Input Data Units' > 'General' tab on the General Settings view.

Edit includes Click on the button to access the include file. The include file is listed in the Includes tab in the General Settings view. Click on the Path entry field in the third column of the Component data section to select the table cell. Click again to activate it and then click on the ellipsis button and locate the include file. Optionally, you can change the Mode of handling the include file in the simulation deck in the second column of the table.
