The workspace tools
The Tools in the Workspace section offers a range of tools that can be useful at various stages of the modeling process. These include:
Use a floating palette with Editing Tools that you can use with the currently selected object. Its contents will change depending on the active view you are working with and the selected type of object. You can drag the floating palette to a convenient location on your screen.
Perform Time Animation to control animations of changes in your model over time or between realizations.
Use the Property Calculator to create functions and expressions for computing properties.
Use the JewelScript Editor to create automated JewelScripts using the different modeling workflows and tools. JewelScripts can be accessed via the Script Explorer.
Control the graphic visualization of events or nodes using Shape Graphics.
To interactively create an area, use the Area tool.
Use the Statistical Analysis tool to create histograms, scatter plots, and variograms for any property.
Use the Function Tool to create functions that allow you to incorporate variables and coefficients in the expressions. You can assign property types to variables and introduce uncertainty in coefficients.
Use the Property Tool to create models and output its properties on a variety of data objects based on the functions created using the Function Tool.
Use the Property vs time chart to visualize one or two properties change over time at a singe location.
Use the Property vs path chart to visualize one or two properties change along a predefined path.
Use Workflow Automation (Old) to create scripts to automate repetitive tasks.
