Context menu export options

Important  JewelSuite 2026.1 Subsurface Modeling applies the GIGS (IOGP) guidelines for geodetic integrity to ensure a consistent workspace and reduce the number of business and safety related issues that may be encountered with inconsistent data positioning. To achieve this consistency, exported data is assigned the same coordinate reference system as the system assigned to the solution. In addition to the export functionality available in the Data strip, you can also use the right-click context menu for 3D grid objects in the JewelExplorer to export data.

3D grids

3D grid data can be exported via the context menu as any of the following files:

  • Schlumberger Generic ECLIPSE™ Grid Files (*.ecl, *.grdecl, *.inc)
  • JOA SGridSet(c) Files (*.joasgridset)
  • JOA SGridSet(c) Files 2011 compatible (*.joagridset)
  • JOA SGridSet VRML Files (*.wrl)
  • RESCUE Model Files (v37.8.1) (*.bin)

3D grid properties

3D grid property data can be exported via the context menu in the following format:

  • Schlumberger Generic ECLIPSE™ Grid Files (*.grdecl)
