Importing, creating and exporting data

Getting your data into your solution is the first step in the modeling process. Data to aid you in the observation and analysis of your model does not have to be imported as part of a solution; individual and complementary data can be imported separately in the data strip. This data can come in many forms, preferably in common formats so that you can import it automatically, as the import functionality within the application is designed to make this task as streamlined as possible. Otherwise, manual editing work may be required to recreate your data in the application. You can also export your data in various standard formats for use in other projects and applications.
