Modeling hydraulic fractures

In hydraulic fracture modeling, you can define a hydraulic fracture scenario that specifies fracture characteristics and properties, create a model grid with varying grid cell size around and along the fractures and map properties to the grid, specify perforation dimensions and prepare the resulting grid for dynamic reservoir simulation. By testing and comparing several scenarios for a well pad with, for example, various well configurations, different grid cell sizes or different fracture properties and fracture stages, you can create the optimal production plan for the entire area.
