Production- and Injection Well Tables

The Production Well Tables and Injection Well Tables views are used to set up the PTUBE1 and ITUBE1 tables.

Important   The keyword PTUBE is obsolete and has been replaced with the more flexible PTUBE1 keyword. PTUBE is still supported by the Deck Reader. Old solutions with the old PTUBE or Tubing Tables in it will automatically convert to PTUBE1 tables.  If the 'PTUBE1 Tables' and 'ITUBE1 Tables' do not appear for a simulation case in the Case Explorer, the Simulation Case can be copied which will generate the PTUBE1 and ITUBE1 tables.
The VFPPROD and VFPINJ keywords are also supported. These will be converted on read-in to PTUBE1/ITUBE1 tables.

PTUBE1 tab

The PTUBE1 tab contains a data entry table in which you may define information for tubing head pressure data:

Model ID  The identifier that is generated in the deck.

Depth [ft]  Reference depth.

Flow Type  The independent flow rate variable. Includes the following options:

OIL  Oil Production Rate.

LIQ  Liquid (oil  + water) production rate.

GAS  Gas production rate.

FLO #  Number of FLO values.

Gfr Type  The independent Gas Fraction variable. Includes the following options:

GOR  Gas-oil ratio.

GLR  Gas-liquid ratio.

OGR  Oil-gas ratio.

GFR #  Number of GFR values.

Wfr Type  The independent Water Fraction variable. Includes the following options:

WOR  Water-oil ratio

WCUT  Water cut (water-liquid ratio)

WGR  Water-gas ratio

WFR #   Number of WFR values.

Add Type  The independent Additional look-up variable. Includes the following options:

LFG  Lift gas injection rate

LFR  Injection gas-liquid ratio for gas lift

LFT  Total gas-liquid ratio for gas lift

DNO  Surface mass density or oil. It takes the volumetric-weighted average value for a manifold group.

DNG  Surface mass density of gas. It takes the volumetric-weighted average value for a manifold group.

Add #  Number of Add values.

WHP #  Selects or opens the Lift table. The lift table is a multi-dimensional table; the displayed data is dependent upon the selections in each column, starting with the left-most column. Note that the values for any cell can be modified manually. Above the main display table in the right side of the view, the active row and column data can be changed via the drop down boxes.

Table  The connected table.

Write as PTUBE 1 (IMEX™ simulator only)  When checked, writes as a PTUBE1 pressure table, which is supported by the well pressure calculator program. See the IMEX™ manual for further details.

ITUBE1 tab

The ITUBE1 tab contains a data entry table in which you may define information for tubing head pressure data for injection wells:

Model ID  The identifier that is generated in the deck.

Depth [ft]  Reference depth.

Flow Type  The independent flow rate variable. Includes the following options:

GAS  Gas Injection Rate

WAT  Water Injection Rate

SOL  Solvent Injection Rate

FLO #  Number of FLO values.

WHP #  Number of WHP values.

Table  The connected table.

Write as ITUBE1 (IMEX™ simulator only)  When checked, writes as an ITUBE1 pressure table, which is supported by the well pressure calculator program. See your IMEX™ manual for further details.
