Simulation output

The output report is a voluminous text file that gives details on the simulation according to the report parameters that were specified in the input.

Production data

By default, the tNavigator™ simulator produces no production data. Variables that specify what data is to be reported are available on the SUMMARY tab in the General Settings view. Select the Add Standard Reporting option from the context menu of the General Settings view to specify a default set of variables for reporting. This default set is enumerated below:

FOPR  Field oil production rate

FPR  Field pressure

WOPR  Well oil production rate

WWPR  Well water production rate

WGPR  Well gas production rate

WWCT  Well water cut

WGOR  Well gas/oil ratio

WBHP  Well bottom hole pressure

WTHP  Well tubing head pressure

WWIR  Well water injection rate

FOPT  Field oil production total

WOPT  Well oil production total

FGPR  Field gas production rate

FGIR  Field gas injection rate

WGIR  Well gas injection rate

FGPT  Field gas production total

FGIT  Field gas injection total

WGPT  Well gas production total

WGIT  Well gas injection total

FWPR  Field water production rate

FWIR  Field water injection rate

FWPT  Field water production total

FWIT  Field water injection total

WWPT  Well water production total

WWIT  Well water injection total

Click Import Results on the Simulation strip to import plots from simulations that have not been run in the application.

Map data

By default, the tNavagator™ simulator produces no map data. Map data generation must be setup in the input (General Settings view, Maps tab). Use Add Standard Reporting option from the context menu of the General Settings view to set up a typical map generation for the deck which includes PRES, SOIL, SGAS, and SWAT maps.

The map data is written as a set of files. This file set differs depending on which options have been selected in the I/O options section of the Options tab of the General Settings view. Map data is imported after the simulation is complete. Use the Import Results form to import data from simulations that have not been performed using the application.

Maps will not be imported if no grid is attached to the simulation case.
