Wells view
The well data input section is used to describe the wells to the tNavigator™ simulator. All the data entered in this section can change over the simulation run. There are many types of data that can be specified. At a minimum, the well configuration, completions, and constraints must be specified. The completions represent the path of the well completion through the grid and can be connected to the upstream workflow through the survey stacks.
Unlike other spreadsheet views featured in the application, the Wells view is not configured using a master table. Instead, most tables on the view have Well and Time columns.
Well Well name. Must be 8 characters or less.
Time Time that the well data is implemented.
The context menu for the Well view contains the following commands:
Update All Wells Update the well completions and the well constraints from the upstream workflow for all connected wells.
Update Well Update the well completions and well constraints from the upstream workflow for the selected wells.
Wells tab
The first tab on the Well view contains the Well table. The Well table is a master list of all wells in the simulation case. It also describes connections from each well to the upstream workflow.
Active When checked indicates that well is active. An inactive well is not written to the deck.
