The workspace tools
The Tools in the Workspace section offers a range of tools that can be useful at various stages of the modeling process. These include:
Use the Log Conversion tool to perform one of four types of conversion. See Converting logs for more on this.
Use a floating palette with Editing Tools that you can use with the currently selected object. Its contents will change depending on the active view you are working with and the selected type of object. You can drag the floating palette to a convenient location on your screen.
Perform Time Animation to control animations of changes in your model over time or between realizations.
Use the Property Calculator to create functions and expressions for computing properties.
Control the graphic visualization of events or nodes using Shape Graphics.
To interactively create an area, use the Area tool.
Use the Quick Log Calculator to create case-independent pseudo density and hydrostatic pore pressure logs for a particular wellbore.
Use Log Set Merge to combine comparable log data from different sources for different wells into one log data set.
